Nick bought me tickets to see one of my favorite comedians in Victoria over Thanksgiving weekend. (Yay Nick!) We took the Clipper to get there, and aside from having to switch boats because we sucked some debris into a water jet intake, it was an awesome way to get to/from Victoria.
On Friday, the weather was good so we explored Beacon Hill Park (complete with peacocks) and wandered along the water to the massive breakwater that protects Victoria’s inner harbor. After drinks and appetizers in our hotel’s lounge, we headed off for the show.
Saturday was pretty soggy, so we enjoyed exploring Craigdarroch Castle and the Royal BC Museum. The latter had an outstanding wildlife and natural habitat photography exhibit. It’s also home to some pretty incredible First Nation’s art and cultural artifacts.
