When reality hits you in the face

Part of practicing law includes buying malpractice insurance. In principal, I’m okay with this, except that when I see a full-page add for the company I bought insurance through in The Economist, it makes me feel…well…old and stuffy, and not at all like I’m 25 years old anymore.

’em … hate to be the one to break it to you but unless my “date arithmetic” is off … you’re not 25 anymore.

My dear, I regret to inform you that the quarter century anniversary of your birth did pass us by a while ago. Though, you have certainly packed three lifetimes of living into that extra near-decade. Since your birthday does happen to fall slightly before mine, I think that qualifies me to say that you are old(er). However, I think you have certainly avoided the stereotypical demographic that reads The Economist and therefore do not qualify as old and stuffy.
